A weekend of new things

Sophie crawls backwards, thats right, not forward. She and her cousin are dueling it out on the floor to see who can move faster and with Sophie only moving backwards, I think she lost.

Almost Seven months

Time has flown by. Sophie will be 7 months tomorrow, she's practically reading and writing! Here are some pictures we've taken over the past few weeks.

Painting Day!

My sisters came for the weekend to help us paint our bedroom and decorate our house. It was a really fun weekend and we got so much time!

Sophie has discovered the joys of putting her feet her in mouth...it's really her favorite thing to do!

We gave Sophie her first bites of "real" food. I don't think she knew what to do with the new taste and texture.

Christmas 2007

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was held at our house this year. Since moving to CA, this is the first year we have had space for a tree. Instead of our usual tradition of watching White Christmas, we ended up playing Guitar Hero...it's quite addicting.

Family Visit

My sisters and brother in-law came to visit for Christmas. We all met at Gladstones, a restaurant on the beach in Malibu for lunch. They have the best clam chowder.

Hard at work

I was working from home while watching both Isabelle (my niece) and Sophie. They were very good and even helped me work...until they both had a diaper disaster, at the same time!
