East Coast Trip

A little late on blogging, but here are some photos from our trip to the east coast. We had a fantastic trip; family, friends, snow and two trips to the ER....what a great and adventurous trip we had!

Doesn't Aubrey look so tiny on this couch!
The girls and their Grandpa, they LOVE their grandpa.
It snowed just a few days after we arrived. Sophie loved playing in the snow.
Sophie ADORES her cousins and loved playing with them.
Sophie's first trip to the ER. She pulled her elbow out of its socket (Nursemaid's Elbow) and a quick visit to the ER fixed it.
We spent a night in Maine with our good friends Darrell and Pippy and their sweet boys, Ian and Alex. It wasn't to long ago that it was just us four adults hanging out and now each of our families have doubled!
Here is Ian reading the Valentine's Day card Sophie made for him. Future lovebirds??????
Typical Aubs, happy as can be.
I spent a day in Boston with our friends the Hortons (thanks for having us!) and my friend Jess and her daughter Lily came to visit. The three girls played so well together.
Visit #2 to the ER, but with Aubrey this time. Poor sweet baby had a double ear infection.

Plane ride home. Ed left to head back to CA a few days before so the girls and I were on our own for the last few days of our trip. Poor little Aubs ears hurt her so much and I think she cried 6 out of the 7 hour plane ride. Thankfully there were some really nice people who helped me along the way. Thank you kind strangers!

Gymnastics

Sophie started gymnastics a few weeks ago and she loves it! She is definitely one of the smallest and youngest in her class, but she just keeps up with everyone but looks sooooo small compared to the 3 and 4 year olds!

Day with cousins

These girls! We took the girls to story hour; at first they sat down with their books and waited patiently for story hour to begin, but as soon as it begin these girls had other plans! Sophie started chasing Isabelle who then started to chase Sophie....all the while giggling with laughter! Story hour did not happen for these two busy ladies!
Chasing each other during story hour.
Loving each other!!
Four busy girls, I can't believe we got them all to sit at the same time!

Four Months Old Today

I can hardly believe Aubrey is four months old today! What a happy little girl Miss Aubrey is. She is so smiley and loves to coo, and she doesn't seem to mind that Sophie is ALWAYS in her face, always touching her......poor kid, she just sits back and takes it all in. We love you Aubs!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas (a bit late =) We had such a wonderful Christmas! My sisters and their husbands flew in from Colorado for the weekend. Christmas morning was so much fun with the little girls. The girls LOVED having their aunties and uncles around.Sophie hanging out with Uncle Caleb in her new Princess castle. (yes it is almost as big as her room, but she loves it!)

Sophie in her new chef hat and apron. She has so many new things for her mini kitchen that we're thinking of adding on an addition to her kitchen! The four cousins; Isabelle (26 months), Olivia (7 months), Sophie (28 months) and Aubrey (3.5 months). That makes for a very busy morning!
Stocking time.
Love these flower hats!
Adults night out!

Pre-Christmas Activities

Decorating Christmas cookies.
Aubrey never seems to make it in many of our photos because she is usually sleeping. Here is Aubrey in car seat while we strolled at the Redondo Beach Holiday Stroll.
Sophie and her BFF Paige at the Redondo Beach Holiday Stroll.
I think the girls ate more of the house decorations then what was actually put on the gingerbread house.
Sophie and her friend Samantha at their very first movie. We saw the Princess and the Frog and they loved it! (Aubrey slept through the movie)
Manhattan Beach Fireworks! Sophie was a little scared but cuddled in dad's arms and loved all the pretty lights.
Our girls in their Christmas dresses.
Sophie was a little afraid of Santa (I don't think Sophie moved at all while sitting on his lap)and would only sit on his lap after I put Aubrey on his lap.
Our wonderful friend couldn't use her Disney On Ice tickets so she gave them to us! I bravely took both girls by myself and we had a great time. Sophie loved seeing the Mermaid and Tinkerbell "dancing" on the ice.

What a busy but wonderful December we've had!
