Eggs, eggs and more eggs!
Easter weekend began with decorating Easter eggs, egg hunts, more egg hunts and Easter dinner with family and friends. Sophie understood much more clearly this year that the point was to find as many eggs as possible and that there was chwacolate (chocolate) in them. Of course the egg hunts were so much fun, but Easter is such a significant time to remember that Christ died to save us all. He is Risen indeed!
Sophie and her sweet friend Paige embarking on a very serious Easter egg hunt!
Sophie and Aubrey on Easter morning. We hid some eggs that morning for Soph to find...and for Aubrey to chew on.
We had Easter dinner at my sisters house along with their friends. 6 kids, three 2.5 year olds and three babies....yes it was very busy! This is a photo of five of the girls..Aubrey is missing.
Isabelle is very serious about her egg hunt.

6 Month Stats
This afternoon I took Aubrey for her 6th month checkup. (poor little angel has an ear infection and had to get 4 shots!) I thought for sure after comparing her stats to when Sophie was 6th months old that I would find that Aubrey would be much bigger! But they're 6th months measurements are very similar.
Aubrey's 6 month stats: weight: 15lb 14oz (40th % percentile) height 26.75inches (75% percentile)
Sophie 's 6th month stats: weight: 15lb. 7oz (50%percentile) height: 26in. (75%percentile)

East Coast Trip
A little late on blogging, but here are some photos from our trip to the east coast. We had a fantastic trip; family, friends, snow and two trips to the ER....what a great and adventurous trip we had!
Doesn't Aubrey look so tiny on this couch!
The girls and their Grandpa, they LOVE their grandpa.
It snowed just a few days after we arrived. Sophie loved playing in the snow.
Sophie ADORES her cousins and loved playing with them.
Sophie's first trip to the ER. She pulled her elbow out of its socket (Nursemaid's Elbow) and a quick visit to the ER fixed it.
We spent a night in Maine with our good friends Darrell and Pippy and their sweet boys, Ian and Alex. It wasn't to long ago that it was just us four adults hanging out and now each of our families have doubled!
Here is Ian reading the Valentine's Day card Sophie made for him. Future lovebirds??????
Typical Aubs, happy as can be.
I spent a day in Boston with our friends the Hortons (thanks for having us!) and my friend Jess and her daughter Lily came to visit. The three girls played so well together.
Visit #2 to the ER, but with Aubrey this time. Poor sweet baby had a double ear infection.
Plane ride home. Ed left to head back to CA a few days before so the girls and I were on our own for the last few days of our trip. Poor little Aubs ears hurt her so much and I think she cried 6 out of the 7 hour plane ride. Thankfully there were some really nice people who helped me along the way. Thank you kind strangers!

Day with cousins
These girls! We took the girls to story hour; at first they sat down with their books and waited patiently for story hour to begin, but as soon as it begin these girls had other plans! Sophie started chasing Isabelle who then started to chase Sophie....all the while giggling with laughter! Story hour did not happen for these two busy ladies!
Chasing each other during story hour.
Loving each other!!
Four busy girls, I can't believe we got them all to sit at the same time!

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas (a bit late =) We had such a wonderful Christmas! My sisters and their husbands flew in from Colorado for the weekend. Christmas morning was so much fun with the little girls. The girls LOVED having their aunties and uncles around.
Sophie hanging out with Uncle Caleb in her new Princess castle. (yes it is almost as big as her room, but she loves it!)

Sophie in her new chef hat and apron. She has so many new things for her mini kitchen that we're thinking of adding on an addition to her kitchen!
The four cousins; Isabelle (26 months), Olivia (7 months), Sophie (28 months) and Aubrey (3.5 months). That makes for a very busy morning!
Stocking time.
Love these flower hats!
Adults night out!
