Shopping at the Grove

The weekend after Christmas we put Sophie in her Baby Bijorn and went shopping at the Grove in Hollywood.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was held at our house this year. Since moving to CA, this is the first year we have had space for a tree. Instead of our usual tradition of watching White Christmas, we ended up playing Guitar Hero...it's quite addicting.

Family Visit

My sisters and brother in-law came to visit for Christmas. We all met at Gladstones, a restaurant on the beach in Malibu for lunch. They have the best clam chowder.

Hard at work

I was working from home while watching both Isabelle (my niece) and Sophie. They were very good and even helped me work...until they both had a diaper disaster, at the same time!

We can hardly believe Sophie is already 3 months old. Sophie went to her first Halloween party today. She was the cutest Pea in a Pod you ever saw!!

Ed's Explosive Birthday Party

We celebrated Ed's birthday at his favorite restaurant, Rock Bottom Brewery. While finishing our dinner at the restaurant, a pipe bomb exploded in the parking garage attached to the restaurant and we weren't allowed to get our cars until Sunday morning. Luckily no one was hurt and our cars were untouched.

I had to go back to work last week and Sophie has been hard at work to! Sophie is the hardest worker at Bame Public Relations.

2 Months Old

We can't believe Sophie is already two months old. She rolled over for the first time today. She is getting so big. She now smiles back at you when you smile at her.

Sophie was born on Saturday, August 4th at 4:20am.

It's a Girl!

On March 6th, we found out that Mar Mar is a girl. While I am soo excited it's a girl, I think Ed has warmed up to the idea a little bit more, although he is somewhat disapointed that he is not getting a football quarterback as our firstborn! This is a photo of Mar Mar at 19 weeks. I can't believe how clear the sonogram is! Clearly she is advanced. Mar Mar started to kick about 3 weeks ago. It's so weird to have something moving inside your stomache, but very cool. I think she's just reminding me that she's around.

Sarah's Pregnant

On November 23, 2006 (Black Friday shopping day) we found outI was pregnant!! We were kind of shocked at first and of course very excited. I have had a very easy pregnancy so far; no morning sickness, no cravings. We affectionally call the baby Mar Mar because two weeks before we found out I was pregnant I had this dream about my friend Kelly who was so pregnant and she was showing me all her baby things and she said that she was having a girl and going to call it Mar Mar. So when we found out that we were pregnant, we just started calling the baby Mar Mar. And yes, we will be giving the baby a "real" name when she is born! I am due July 28.
